Unified Communication

A Unified Communication system allows the users to utilize a wide range of communication features which improve the efficiency of daily duties, allowing to focus on the message instead of the medium.

Unified Communication systems enable faster information exchange, reducing phone call costs and number of business trips, because different communication methods such as:

  • Phone calls
  • Web, voice and video conferences
  • Unified e-mail, voice mail and fax
  • Corporate instant messaging
  • Coworker availability information
  • Groupwork and file sharing
  • Integration of existing communication devices

are using one integrated communications system, regardless of location and access medium.

Who is it for?

We needed a solution which was much more flexible and dynamic in configuration and management. A solution which can be administered without physical presence which was difficult due to the centralization of the IT department.

“The main problem regarding our telecommunication needs was that our development was largely asymmetrical”, says Paweł Zieliński, IT Office Director in ULMA Construcción.

“Depending on the business environment (number of new constructions, investments scope and scale) our branches changed their staff composition. Frequent changes to the number of employees resulted in frequent reconfiguration of our ICT infrastructure.

The standard solutions were not up to the task as we often had to subscribe to new services or quit the ones we used, buy new phones, switchboards, etc. We needed a solution which was much more flexible and dynamic in configuration and management. A solution which can be administered without physical presence, which was difficult due to the IT department being centralized.

The Unified Communication System is recommended for Clients who have:

  • A geographically scattered organization (many branches in Poland and abroad).
  • A large number of remote workers (e.g. sales representatives)

  • A group of employees who can work from home (telework).
